NOICE! Did you really paint it on the BlueLine paper? How well does that paper stock take the watercolor? Doesn't it warp and buckle?

That's an awesome piece. Also, nice to see a color piece from you.

Yeah I did. Crazy, right? It supposed to be just another grey tone but the I saw the watercolor. Rest is history. But I won't try it again if I can help it. Better stick to your strathmore watercolor paper. It takes twice as long and a lot more tougher because the paint kept sliding on the smooth surface.

Good to know, man. I was thinking I might try watercolor tones over a layer of Copic gray values. It's something I saw over on Joe Quinones' DA gallery and it seems to work nicely for him. Again, as you say, it's going to come down to the right paper, I reckon.
